- Assist in building a world class UX practice from the ground floor
- Establish new design standards, including the latest 2022 and beyond UX design patterns, UX strategies, methodologies, research and UX governance
- Successfully bridge the gap between UX and AI
- UX Research - Assist and leverage the creation of an Action Tracking Framework to acutely monitor user actions, behaviors, patterns and ideate new experiences to automate cyclical, high-value, high frequent user actions thru predictive behavioral analysis and next generation UX-related automations. Guide technologists what user scenarios to track and methodologies to decrease time to task completion, overall process and workflow optimization (Flow and Process prioritized before Design Decisions)
- Provide both design and thought leadership in next generation FinTech experiences
- Ability to articulate design decisions, strategies, and UX evangelism, combating opinions with UX education (Fitts Law, Millers Law, etc.)
- Oversee a team that prioritizes UX over quick development cycles
- Hands-on high-fidelity ideation, user journeys, user flows, and prototyping (Adobe XD or similar tools)
- Optimize navigation and UI patterns using tools to break down taxonomies, such as TreeJack
- Participate in review of UX designs, technical designs, and approve process specifications and design standards
- Bachelor's or higher in Design, HCI, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field. Degrees from SCAD, Full Sail, and other leading schools with impressive UX programs preferred but your portfolio will determine your desirability
- Significant track record in ideating, leading, defining, and delivering great user experiences for enterprise web-based applications
- 10+ years in demonstrated success leading UX design for Enterprise software products
- Visionary with strategic mindset who can partner with others to execute the strategy
- Expertise in developing and weaving together strong interaction design to produce superior UX experiences
- Ability to "see through the noise" and frame the problems, identify solutions, and move the team forward
- Experience partnering and delivering with groups across the organization including Product Development & Management, and Executive Leadership
- Successful experience in building teams, goal setting, coaching, & developing individuals to achieve targets skills and results
- Authoritative understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Ability to stay on top of multiple initiatives simultaneously and competing priorities
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Thirst for continued education and knowledge; a quick study
- Deep understanding of design systems and accessibility, appreciation and continued interest in front-end technologies, JS libraries capabilities, front-end frameworks and how they impact UX execution
