InfoPeople Corporation is currently seeking a
Window Server Engineer with our direct client in their Brooklyn, NY location.Title: Window Server Engineer Employment Type: 12 Months Contract Location: Brooklyn, NY – ONSITE FROM DAY 1- Manage all aspects of DSS/Client Servers and related enterprise software throughout their life cycle.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems, and resolutions, prioritizing problems, assessing impact of issues.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, hosting resources, systems, reviewing systems and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backup.
- Monitor performance and maintain Decisions applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to discuss, analyze, or resolve usability issues.
- Ensure the Decisions servers, hardware and software are operating accurately. Troubleshoot all issues with the developers, various infrastructure teams and vendors.
- Work closely with application support & security teams to maintain up-to-date patch levels and application specific feature configuration.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Backup and restore of data and applications.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, PowerShell, Internet technologies (Microsoft IIS 7.0, 8.0, 8.5 & 10) and Decisions application.
- Experience managing Microsoft Widows server environments running modern Windows Server 2016/2019
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with little supervision
- Performance tuning and monitoring
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
