We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our family. We are a gorgeous cafe in the heart of the west Village, "The C cafe", located at 552 Hudson st. (corner of Perry st). we are a full service cafe in daytime and perfect spot for drinks and Aperitivo in the evenings, serving great cocktails and a fabulous menu.
Qualifications:
2+ years high-volume bartending experience
Strong hospitality and people skills
Good employment record that shows commitment
Passion and knowledge of spirits and cocktails
Ability to lead by example and find ways to contribute their knowledge regularly
Responsibilities Include:
Technical ability and knowledge of classic and modern cocktails
Developing equal knowledge of The C cafe, cocktail and food menus
Helping guests choose menu items, and taking orders for guests seated at the bar
Thorough understanding of bar prep, sidework and all beverage related pars for the program
Providing friendly and attentive service
Adhering to company standards for serving alcoholic beverages and executing service steps
Assisting in tasks to ensure a stocked, sanitized and safe restaurant
Participating in cocktail program and beverage offering curation (optional, based on interest)
