We're looking for someone who wants to be accountable, lead and work together with the kitchen team to make the food the best it can be.

Someone who can lead by example and work along side the other cooks as a team.

Some of the responsibilities that come with being the leader of the kitchen are.

°Making sure the kitchen & prep area is DOH Compliant at all times.

°Organization & efficiency

°Teaching , Cooking, and Overlooking line cooks.

°Communicating / Working together with the owner to improve and raise the bar.

°Help with menu item crafting , integrate some seasonal menu items ( cost effectiveness in mind )

°Communicating with the prep / BOH.

°Making sure the prepping / ordering are suffice

°Delegating to the cooks & porters

°Managing B.O.H Staff. Making sure everything is as efficient as possible (porters, prep cooks, & line cooks.)°

°Ability to manage a team , expedite , and run the kitchen in a busy fast paced environment.

Skills & Requirements:

°Proven chef / cook skills.

°Culinary Training & Management Experience.

°NYS DOH ID

°Ability to be a leader and delegate responsibilities.

°Bilingual ( English & Some Spanish needed)

No drinking problems
