Job Description:
As the Lead Barista at Montemug Coffee, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the highest quality of coffee preparation. You will lead the barista team, manage daily operations, and contribute to a positive and energetic work environment. Your expertise in coffee brewing and your passion for creating delightful customer experiences will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas and pastries items with a focus on quality and presentation.
-Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Build relationships with customers, offering personalized recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement seasonal drink menus and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and beverage preparation.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable coffee experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
