Chavela's is a very busy neighborhood Mexican restaurant in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
Open Call Friday October 25th 12-2pm
We are seeking an experienced bartender and server (two different positions) to join our team for 4 -5 shifts a week, which will include at least one lunch shift. Open availability is ideal. If you are a hard working quick thinker with an outgoing personality and a sense of urgency, please apply.
Qualifications:
At least two years experience in a fast paced restaurant setting
Knowledge of agave spirits
Keeps a clean work space
Speed and ability to handle high volume
Commitment to hospitality and great service
Experience serving food, willing to work serving shifts on occasion
Personable and energetic
Proactive – a problem solver
Reliable, punctual, detail oriented
Has a great attitude and is a pleasure to work with and be around
Lives locally a plus. Knowledge of Toast a plus.
Must be able to work Sundays.
Open call this Friday October 25th from 12-2pm at Altar, 645 Sterling Place, Brooklyn (next door to Chavela's) off the corner of Franklin Avenue.
