Requirements:
Experience: Minimum (2) years of serving experience in a restaurant or similar setting.
Positive Attitude: A friendly demeanor towards guests and coworkers alike.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively interact with guests, team members, and kitchen staff.
Availability: Willingness to work lunch and dinner shifts. Shifts vary from 3 to 4 days per week.
Job Overview:
As a server at 886, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming guests and taking orders with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Assisting in bussing and wiping down tables to prepare for the next seating.
- Being knowledgeable about our food and drink menu to assist customers with their orders and make informed recommendations.
- Stocking and maintaining the service station to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
- Polishing and cleaning utensils and other service items to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Coordinating with other servers and kitchen staff to efficiently deliver food and drinks.
- Assisting the host by seating customers during busy periods.
- Supporting the service bar when needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Contributing to end-of-shift duties, including tidying up the dining area, responsibly disposing of trash, sweeping, and mopping to prepare the space for the next day.
Pay:
$10/hr + tip
