Solo attorney in Brooklyn seeking paralegals and attorneys to serve as co-counsel on immigration, civil litigation and landlord/tenant cases. For co-counsel pay is 50/50. For paralegals, pay is an hourly rate to be negotiated between us. This is for experienced professionals only.
Here are the descriptions:
For attorneys, the main thing you need to do is go to court, review paperwork and provide guidance to whomever is doing the drafting. If you can do some drafting yourself, the profit margin will look a lot better.
For immigration paralegals, you should be able to draft immigration documents and pleadings as necessary, and for civil litigation paralegals you should be able to draft pleadings and have a good working knowledge of the CPLR.
