Artist seeking full time studio assistant.
Sculptor in Gowanus Brooklyn is seeking a studio assistant to work full time. Ideal candidates are craft oriented and comfortable with hands on physical work. Must be punctual, organized, outgoing and able to adapt to a variety of different tasks daily. Along with assisting in the art making process the studio assistant will be responsible for general upkeep of the space and office. Someone who is both confident in their craftsmanship abilities as well as comfortable with computers and office organization is best suited for this role.

The studio is in walking distance of F, G and R trains. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with compensation at $19.00 per hour. Schedule and pay are non negotiable. Please do not apply if you cannot work full time and do not plan on making a long term commitment.
