Our core responsibility in Post Production is to provide a seamless creative and operational experience from pre-production through to delivery. Role x You

The Director of Post Production, North America, will lead strategic planning for Post Production Operations which will include overseeing the assignments, resourcing and activities of Post Production Supervisors, Post Production Managers, Post Coordinators, Editors, Assistant Editors, Mixers and Colorists. You will partner with all lines of business at VICE Media Group to ensure the projects stay both on schedule and budget. You will also assist the teams during the delivery process from pre-production through to broadcast and/or publishing. The Direct of Post Production, North America will be responsible for internal and external talent outreach. Reporting to the SVP, Global Post Production, this role is regional which will oversee Operations, Resource and Talent management. In addition to the regional responsibilities, this role will also work closely with the regional leads for LATAM, EMEA and APAC.

In the short term You will have a good understanding of how the Post Production team works alongside the entire organization and specifically each business. Reporting to the SVP, Post Production you will be tasked with developing new ideas to streamline processes that work globally.

But after 6 months in this role You will be proactively building talent outreach and future planning with Post Production and Line of Business leads.

And after a year At this time, you will possess a full understanding of what it takes to keep the wheels spinning on a dime or with planning….

You have these:

  • 10 years experience as a Post Production Supervisor, Manager or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere workflows
  • Experience with creating and vetting post production budgets and schedules
  • Experience with MAM software and news applications.
  • Proven experience delivering content to digital and network specifications
  • Must be comfortable handling multiple projects and working in a fast paced environment
