Job Description

  • Responsibilities

    • Perform ongoing analysis of Single Family Rental investment portfolios and translate analysis into optimal business processes.
    • Closely monitor various property level approvals including, but not limited to, operating expenses, capital expenditures, lease up rents, renewal rents, and delinquencies.
    • Review and maintain dashboards of multiple portfolio level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Perform trend analysis on specific KPIs and determine how to improve those metrics either through process or technology resources
    • Communicate ongoing trends, areas of improvement, and recommendations to other internal teams including Trading, Capital Markets, and Operations Strategy
    • Manage the operations and partners responsible for specific performance aspects of asset and property management
    • Assess budgets, forecasts, performance reports, timelines, and management plans
    • Perform detailed review and analysis of property level data including financial general ledger, property management data files, and other structured data from broader partner network

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-10 years of real estate private equity/asset management experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field with a strong record of academic achievement.
    • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel required. Preferred proficiency with SQL and Python/R.
    • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Sigma or Tableau strongly preferred.
    • Strong experience with financial modeling, including detailed property-level financial statement analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and performance metrics.
    • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide and manage workflows and personnel
    • Strong ability to multi-task and manage varied and constantly changing workloads in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Ability to set personal, team and project-specific priorities, be highly organized in the day-to-day and longer-term planning and execution, and track and maintain complex schedules.
    • Articulate, decisive communicator who understands how to communicate effectively with team members.
    • Critical thinking and analytical abilities to proactively address areas of growth and improvement.
