Indie designer is looking for an organized, energetic, stylish retail assistant!
We are looking hiring for full-time and part-time positions.
avalove is an indie artist's shop in chelsea market where we silkscreen, sew, and hand dye women's clothing. Since we are a small business, you will wear many hats in this position so you must be organized, and flexible.
We would love to promote this position into an assistant to the designer position or shop manager position
YOU:
at least two years of proven retail experience and proven sales record
we love type A organized people
you love fashion!
bring your best to everything you do and achieve your goals
energetic, positive, can do personality
you must love people! and a fast-paced sales environment
Duties include:
make our customers feel like rockstars!
build a client list of our regulars
keep the shop looking fabulous, organized, and clean
inventory management
self-starter - you must be able to manage many tasks and be creative with problem solving
right hand to the designer
light errands: shipping, possible inventory pick up or delivery
must be able to work weekends
This position will start off as a part-time position with room to grow if you prove you're the rockstar we want to add to our team.
