Our client, a radio broadcasting company, is seeking a Java Developer
Location: Remote Position Type: Contract Position Summary: Improve the quality of the data we publish using java, in-house tools, and various AWS services. Duties and Responsibilities:- Investigate sources of data quality issues, and correct code to improve quality of the data being produced.
- Implement integration tests using the Spock framework to ensure data is being correctly transformed.
- Code functions and components to fix various errors in the input data.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or related area or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience with java and AWS services.
- Requirements and General Skills:
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Java 8
- Experience with the following is a plus:
- MongoDB
- AWS Services
