Job Description - Level 2 Support / Systems Administrator

Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider located in Mid-Town Manhattan

and they are looking to add a Level 2 Desktop Analyst / SystemsAdministrator to their growing team.

They provide full Benefits and up to 20% Bonus, 401k, and Company Paid Lunch.

Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd level line of technical support by responding to user requests. You may have to visit client sites at certain times.

Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.

Respond to enquiries from users and help resolve hardware and/or software problems.

Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.

Arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house

Stay current with system information, changes and updates.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7/10, and O365

Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2010 within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)

Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2010 with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.

Provide 2nd level line of technical support by responding to user requests.

Requirements:

Customer Focused:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent work in an IT related field.
  • Current, or past MSP Experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Passionate about, and dedicated to the client experience. Establishes partner relationship with clients.
  • Technical Proficiencies:
  • Networking Technologies: Cisco, Meraki, SonicWALL, Client
  • Network +
  • SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) or SonicWall Network Security Professional (SNSP) (even better)
  • CCNA certification a plus
    • VMware ESXi 5.0/5.5/6.0
      • VCP certification a plus
    • BDR Technologies:Datto

      • StorageCraft
    • Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
    • Exchange 2010/2013/2016
    • Cloud Infrastructure:
