As part of TSG, the Enterprise Monitoring and Automation team's goal is to provide the tools and strategy to drive holistic end-to-end enterprise technology monitoring across a combination of people, process, and tools. Define and implement a comprehensive standardized set of 'best-of-breed' monitoring tools for use across the enterprise. Democratize the monitoring data and federate dashboard configuration and events management. Develop a modern automation platform using artificial intelligence and machine learning to facilitate automated issue resolution and faster triage.

Key responsibilities: • Build technical monitoring solutions which integrate timely telemetry from a number of strategic vender monitoring solutions (Orion, Prometheous, Netsout, etc), providing the Firm's operational support teams with timely information with which to make critical operational support decisions • Lead cross-functional technical teams to drive the delivery of highly technical monitoring solutions • Integrate new and emerging methodologies and practices with our internal development processes

Qualifications: • Highly proficient with Windows and Linux Operating Systems • 9+ years application development experience with Java, J2EE, Spring • 5+ years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kudu, MongoDb • Must have used on Docker/Kubernettes and should have developed container based applications • Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies. • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations. • 5+ years of experience of other industry leading monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Prometheus, SolarWinds Orion, Netscout, Ngenius, Splunk with focus on using related API's • In-depth knowledge working with and managing Git (Bitbucket, Github, CodeCommit). • 3+ years of experience using messaging technologies, Apache Kafka and IBM MQ. • 2+ years of hands on experience with UI technologies like Angular, JS • Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, Powershell Consults with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support. Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge on or both the user-side frontend of a website, as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side. Additional requirements include intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases and architecture design principles. Provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs. Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards. Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions. Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system. Apply security and privacy principles. Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications. Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group. Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services. Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies. Active learning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time. Use learning tools such as Pluralsight to complete both recommended and aspirational targets set in personal development plans. Stays abreast of emerging technologies. Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions. Mentors junior level engineers Expertise in using a specific application development toolkit and proficiency of front end and backend development coding languages such as C#, Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript. Must also have proficiency in application frameworks and containerization.
