Our client, a financial services company, is seeking a Senior Eagle Developer

Location: Remote

Position Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise closely with all Middle & Back Office operations and technology application teams to generate business and Eagle application technical design documents for both BAU and strategic enterprise level projects
Document current state technical workflows across the business areas defined in the summary and design end to end strategic workflows meeting key business and operational needs
Develop new interfaces that may include web panel development, message center development, stored procedures/functions and other database objects along with FTP tools like sterling integrator and scheduling tools like Autosys
Strong expertise on the following Eagle Investment Systems suite of products: performance fields configuration, OLAP, enrichment process, performance calculation configuration, process initiators, process workflows, batch design and configuration
Efficient collaboration with Dev Ops team for regression testing and work with business users to get sign off in order to deploy changes to Prod environment
Work closely with Project Manager, Business Analyst and QA team and ensure development is completed on time
Follow SDLC / Agile methodologies to make sure timely completion of development.

Required Skills:

Eagle application modules (PACE, Performance, SRM, ARM, STAR), Eagle tools (OLAP, IWS, Eagle ML, message streams, web panels, uploaders, exporters). Batch scheduling tools like Autosys, Sterling Integrator
Use a wide variety of tools and languages to achieve results (e.g., T-SQL and PL/SQL)
Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable with varying (and reactive) daily responsibilities
Ability to work independently, inquisitive nature, and ownership mentality
Highly motivated with the ability to work on multiple tasks independently and as part of a project team
Ability to write complex SQL to query large data sets within Eagle PACE
Autosys, unix shell/Perl scripting knowledge is required
Development experience in ETL tool such as data stage is a plus
Knowledge off Hadoop / Zaloni ETL is a plus

Ability to display independent judgment to make decisions where no clear precedents exist;
Ability to follow Hybrid Project Management Methodologies using Waterfall and SCRUM across projects and programs
Understanding of Corporate Action, Trade Processing, Portfolio Accounting, Derivatives workflows and Collateral Management business concepts
