Apex Systems is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to work for a Big 4 Accounting Firm within their Advisory practice- this role will be supporting a large scale project at a financial services firm in NY, NY. The position is largely remote with onsite required on an as-need basis. Please see the details below: Job Description REQUIRED SKILLS • 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT • 2. MICROSOFT POWERPOINT • 3. MICROSOFT EXCEL • 4. DATA ANALYSIS PREFERRED SKILLS: -Large scale integration experience -Experience working in the financial services industry (brokerage, bank, trading, etc) ROLE DESCRIPTION • Create, maintain, and update project plan(s) • Produce standard and ad-hoc project reports for governance meetings with project stakeholders • Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to collect status updates, review overall program health and direction, and address and escalate any issues • Communicate regular project status and escalate major issues/risks to project governance and senior management
