Job Number: 675 Riverside Research seeks a personable and highly technical individual to fill the role of IT System Administrator, capable of providing information technology support to groups performing cutting-edge research supporting national security interests. In this mid-level position, a successful candidate will leverage experience providing end-user support, but will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, operation, and support of general IT systems in several distributed classified computing environments.The position is available in our Beavercreek, OH, and New York, NY locations. Occasional travel up to 20% may be required, with frequency based upon the candidate's location. Due to the classified nature of the systems being supported, the potential for work-from-home opportunities will be generally limited to a maximum of 1 day p/wk.Core Responsibilities- Installs, configures, and maintains a variety of IT platforms and tools operating in classified environments
- Coordinates with Senior IT Infrastructure personnel to ensure compliance with organizational constructs
- Work closely with information security personnel to ensure compliance with applicable directives, policies, and procedures
- Support local and remote classified software development and validation environments
- Collaborate with remote personnel to ensure consistent execution of support activities across locations
- Execute system operations in the unique constraints of air-gapped classified network environments
- Provide end-to-end user and system support in small, classified environments with limited potential for escalation support
- 3-5 years' experience providing general IT system support
- Experience with Windows-based domains (Active Directory)
- Active Top Secret USG Clearance with SCI Eligibility (able to obtain Counter-Intelligence Polygraph)
- Experience operating in classified or air-gapped network environments
- DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (obtainable within 180-days of employment)
- Knowledge of endpoint configuration management tools (SCCM/MECM)
- Experience across traditional IT stack (Storage, Servers, Networking, Clients)
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (or similar) certification
- Familiarity with enterprise virtualization tools (VMware)
