Seeking a Security-Based Swap Dealer (SBSD) Compliance Analyst will be to facilitate the delivery of Compliance owned workstreams associated with the implementation of the SBSD. Regulates trading of security based swaps - will register as SBSD by November 1st In order to facilitate registration there are infrastructure changes to process and compliance programs to register as SBSD. This role will be supporting the compliance lead in developing necessary policy and procedures, questions form the business and support functions of implementations. Not only will this candidate gain experience at a big 5 bank, but they will be working daily with some of the most disruptive and emerging technologies, making real impact at the bank and its deliverables. They will have the opportunity to engage with senior business stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of a new regulatory regime and set the direction of the banks compliance program. Typical Day in Role: - Draft and facilitate the development of policies and procedures required for the implementation of the SBSD - Coordinating across required functional groups - Field questions relating to the implementation of the associated Supervision Program - Ensure consistent guidance is provided regarding AP designation. Facilitate the Firm's compliance with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation - Enforce adherence to requirements; and advise management on needed actions - Assist business, Compliance, and other control function partners in responding to escalations by conducting , compiling and presenting information as required - Responding to questions regarding regulatory analysis and implementation - Proactively identify and track requirements risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies while ensuring that appropriate documentation, change and risk management practices are followed.
