D Z Strad Violin Shop is looking for a diligent full-time or part- time Sales Associate to provide support at all levels of operation. D Z Strad deals in the sales and rentals of fine string instruments including violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Prior music retail experience is preferred; Violinist is preferred. knowledge of these instruments is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, providing support for the Sales team, contacting and assisting customers, and overseeing orders that are being processed and shipped out. The candidate will also assist Shipping/Receiving department and on-staff luthier, as necessary. Candidate will be expected to assist and maintain the working order of a functioning music retail facility with an online presence.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
· E-commerce experience
. Violinist is preferred. knowledge of these instruments is required.
· Previous retail/customer service experience
· Interest in growing with a company that is constantly expanding and evolving
