Our client is seeking a Project Manager.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Position Type: Contract

Job Description:

- The role is for a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst on the IBOR Transition for the Prime Services business line.

- The candidate will support the Prime Services business and the lead Project Manager in every aspect to successfully transition the legacy trades to Alternate Reference Rates ahead of the permanent cessation of LIBOR.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-To provide LIBOR client transition oversight, coordination, reporting and status updates for Prime Services

-Work with global stakeholders in resolving outstanding queries and documenting solutions.

-Coverage to include end-to-end client journey from initial outreach to ARR transition covering: Prime Finance and Prime Brokerage

- Analysis, specification and implementation of a work flow to manage end to end outreach stages to transition process

- Ensure client interaction and communication is tracked and managed as required by central programme to provide an audit trail of interaction

- Liaise with General Counsel to ensure re-papering work is managed and tracked to completion as a critical dependency ahead of restructuring

- Manage handover for execution across execution teams, ensuring all agreed steps followed and restructure with clients achieved

- Maintain bi-weekly/ monthly scheduling and prioritization based on client readiness with CSRs, Sales, and Trading

- Weekly MI reporting and status updates on agreed transition activity and run rate with business and corporate functions

- Run regular (weekly / biweekly) meetings per business to manage client outreach and transition progress across stakeholders corporate functions

- Maintain project RAIDs, raise and manage risks & issues for attention to management or relevant stakeholders/corporate functions

The candidate is expected to offer:

-5-7 years project management / business analysis experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services or an International investment bank.

-Track record in delivering major projects especially projects delivered in an investment bank or similar institution.

-Solid knowledge of investment banking processes - front to back.

-Involvement with delivery of significant process and technology change.

-Experience of dealing with senior management.

-Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to you ( e.g. from clients, from other departments, external suppliers, technology).

-Knowledge of Equity OTC Swaps and Prime Brokerage Business preferred. Experience in investment bank business-oriented projects, must have interfaced with business and technology groups.

-You have excellent core project management, presentation and communication skills.

-You have excellent organizational and relationship building skills, at all levels.

-Business analysis and problem solving skills.

-Self-starter, self-guiding, and can demonstrate independent thinking.

-Good communication skills; comfortable dealing directly with senior internal clients.

-Track record in delivering major adoption/migration projects in an investment bank or similar institution.

-Proficient in being able to quickly understand large sets of data.
