Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for aJavaApplicationDeveloper - Web Service Integrationfor aRight to Hireassignment with one of our premierFinancial Servicesclients inNew York, NY. Position will start remote. Once position moves to onsite, can work in New York, NY, Hoboken, NJ, Urbandale, IA, Phoenix, AZ, or Austin, TX. Responsibilities :
- Codes, tests and debugs web-based components and services; meets project plan goals under limited guidance
- Primarily focused on Web Service integration
- Build out REST APIS and Web Services
- Works with team to develop project plans and communicate software development plans.
- Works independently to design and develop small technical modules
- Review user stories to ensure understanding of the business need and implementation requirements
- Configure and release components/code using best practices for CI/CD process
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
- Production support of applications
Required Skills : - Minimum 3-5 years working with the following technologies:
- Java
- Springboot
- Microservices and REST APIs
- Mongo DB, Oracle
- Jenkins or other CI/CD Process
- Agile methodologies
Preferred Skills : - Angular
- Node JS
- Front-end Javascript development.
- HTML5, CSS5, Bootstrap
