Description As a Business Analyst you will work with key project stakeholders, Development, and QA teams to ensure proper implementation and delivery of our clientIT Change Management and Quality Assurance processes and procedures. You will be tasked with translating Business requests into technically feasible and clear requirements. This business analyst will liaise with Dev teams, QA, and Product Support to provide inclusive program level oversight and continuous Production launches. Responsibilities will include: Work alongside software development teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed Write detailed business requirements documents with an Agile/sprint-based development methodology Full ownership of in scope applications and platforms Communicate quality standards and parameters to QA team, development team, and other appropriate staff Coordinate overall product testing processes for UAT and regression Create Test Plan, Test Strategy, Traceability Reports, Execution Reports, and Defect Reports Partner with Business in defining UAT Strategy, Test Scenarios, and Entry/Exit Criteria Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Finance or equivalent 8+ years working in Finance Services or Investment Banking industry Familiarity with Trade Life Cycle Management processes and Regulatory Reporting Hold workshops to collect business requirements with the working groups including Front Office, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Back Office. Create process flows for current state vs. future state. Assist with test planning, write test scripts, and conduct UAT testing. Analyze business process and make recommendations for improvements. Responsible for understanding technology impact on the business processes. Working knowledge of project management methods and PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Proven aptitude for "Real time" problem diagnosis and solving High Proficiency with Databases (SQL) A Global Financial Services Leader looking for a top tier application developer.
