Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a C/Java Developer with Options Trading Experiencefor a long-termContract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY. Please note we can only engage on a direct w2 hourly basis, no 3rd party or independent c2c engagement is possible for this client Responsibilities :
- The position main responsibilities are to develop and maintain the company in-house proprietary option real time trading application. The system offers to the company trading platform various trading automatons and direct access to North America option markets.
- The candidate should:
- Make high-level design choices
- Dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
- Understand the interactions and dependencies among components
- Recognize potential reuse in the organization or in the application
- Implement the required modifications and make sure the applications benefit from the leading and innovative technologies.
- BA (or equivalent) required in IT and Finance. Advanced degree considered a plus.
- C/Java coding language mastered (6 years of C experience at least)
- Minimum of 3 years of financial industry experience as a FO developer.
- Good knowledge of pricing (derivatives products) and exotics products.
- Good knowledge of option automatons and option markets
