- The Authentication and Identity Management (AIM) Fleet provides authentication and identity solution to the Firm
- The product portfolio includes home-grown software as well as 3rd party vendor solution and open-source solutions such as MIT Kerberos, Nokia Radius, RSA SecurID, Duo, OpenSSH, and PingFederate
- These products act as the authentication backbone for both user-to-system and system-to-system authentication for the Firm
- The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in developing and enhancing C and Perl based applications created and supported by the Authentication Engineering team
- The candidate will collaborate with technology stakeholders from the Windows and Unix OS platform engineering teams, internal application development groups, and the Technology and Operational Risk organization to gather internal client requirements, translate them into new solutions, implement necessary code changes, and deliver the end product
- As the candidate's expertise increases in the space, they will also help to advise stakeholders on the software onboarding process to the authentication infrastructure, assisting with cross-platform authentication integrations
- Extensive experience in application development in a Unix/Linux environment using the C programing language
- Experience with at least one of the scripting languages like Perl (preferred) or Python
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming, Parallel programming, Micro Services, and Performance optimization
- Good analytical and data modeling skills along with excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and system administration skills
- Quick learner and self-driven
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
- Good understanding of core network and security concepts, specifically Identity and Access management concepts including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA)
- Experience with software delivery processes within a security landscape
- Experience operating in a large, global, compartmentalized enterprise environment
- Good understanding of the Kerberos protocol
