Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in mid-town NYC. This person will be enhancing/supporting the OMS system that handles Credit Investment products on the Allvue (formerly Black Mountain Systems) Everest Platform. The selected candidate will be required to work in the office a minimum of 3 days/week starting immediately. Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be based out of New York as the lead developer for the Credit business within the Asset Management division
- Will be interacting with the business analysts and business stakeholders including front office teams, compliance, etc.
- Act as the main developer supporting the business in the U.S. eastern time zone
- Work effectively with an offshore team of developers
- Adhere to Agile processes
- Will have exposure to learn new technologies and will have the ability to bring in changes to the existing applications
- 7-8+ years Full-Stack Developer experience mainly and recently in:
- c#/.Net
- UI frameworks (React/Nodeor Angular)
- Model View Controller (MVC)
- Microservices
- Cloud development
- SQL
- DevOps pipeline expertise
- Domain experience
- Asset Management or other Investment management firms
- Trade Order Management Systems
- Financial instruments, positions, benchmarks and transactions
- Agile software development process
- Strong English language skills, that is, excellentcommunication skills required.
- Azure Cloud development
- Experience working with Front office Trading / Portfolio Managers
- Allvue (formerly BMS) Everest TOMS
- Microsoft Certified Professional in .Net and SQL server
- Good knowledge on any Enterprise batch scheduling systems (e.g., Control M)
- SSRS and SSIS
- MS SQL Server, T-SQL
- JSON, Xquery, etc.
- Knowledge of Credit products such as Loans, Bonds, etc.
