Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Network Engineering Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY. Responsibilities :
- The priority for this role is to ensure the IT services provided to the business are stable, resilient and performant.
- Responsible for the delivery of a range of Trading Voice and Voice Recording services into the Company. Primarily this involves the contract management, project management, service provision and ongoing support Dealerboards and trading floor voice technologies and Voice Recording.
- The role will involve the management of two teams (one internal and one managed service), primarily based in the US.
- Manage the technology, ensuring that it has maximum availability and it is maintained at an appropriate technical level for support and maintenance purposes.
- Management of the expenditure for Trading Voice and Voice Recording budget lines.
- Ensuring that expenditure is within budget and purchasing fits company policy for standards & procurement.
- Be responsible for various projects and the ongoing change process around project and production activities.
- To ensure incidents affecting the respective production technologies are kept to an absolute minimum where possible.
- To determine SLAs for service requests associated with these technologies and to monitor/ produce measurement reports for these.
- To manage Trading Voice and Voice Recording services participation in technology reviews where applicable.
- Provide adequate representation for production concerning any project that could potentially affect service to provide liaison with overseas offices regarding Trading Voice and Voice Recording.
- Minimising operational failure, including but not exclusively, the risk of fraud, by helping to devise, and by implementing, sufficient regular controls.
- Ensuring appropriate escalation to management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
- Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework.

- Dealerboard / Turret technologies (IPC Unigy)
- Cisco UCM
- Private Wires and Private Wire Network / Network providers
- Voice Recording systems and technologies (NICE, VERBA)
- Microsoft Windows server and productivity tools
- Analytics, CRM and Automation tools
- System monitoring tools
- Understanding of AV technologies (Cisco, AMX, Exterity)
- Understanding of CISCO and Skype voice
- SBC knowledge
