ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
WAGE: $60/HR
LOCATION: REMOTE
10+ year experience in overall Oracle database administration on Linux/Unix platforms
3+ year experience in MySQL installation, administration, backup, DR, including MySQL Clusters
Minimum 8+ year experience with hands-on Oracle 11g/12c/19c on Linux/Unix platforms
Minimum 5+ year experience with Oracle 12c including multi-tenancy, Data Compression, Oracle Advanced Security Transparent Data Encryption, Oracle Key Vault
Minimum 10+ year experience in production support, resolution of complex operational and performance issues in OLTP and DataWarehouse environments. Strong experience in performance tuning: SQL, instance, database
Strong experience (8+ years) with Oracle RAC, load balancing, failover, workload management capabilities, ASM.
Strong experience (5+ years) with Oracle DataGuard configuration and support, including RAC and non-RAC environments
Strong Experience (8+ years) with RMAN, database backup/recovery, including 3rd Party Backup software, such as Commvault
Strong experience (4+ years) with Oracle Grid Control 12c (OEM): monitoring, alerting, job scheduling, etc. Experience in the integration of OEM with 3rd party monitoring software using SNMP.
Strong experience (3+ years) in design and build of Oracle in Public Cloud: AWS. This includes a god knowledge of AWS portal, cli, cloud formation.
Strong experience (4+ years) in large scale migration projects, on-Prem to AWS is a big plus
5+ year experience in physical database design, good knowledge of data modeling and logical database design concepts
Strong experience in Oracle and MySQL in Virtualized environments, for example VMWare
Strong experience in process automation, related 3rd party software, as well as in-house solutions
Strong experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting
Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL
Experience in capacity planning and resource usage analysis
Strong Experience in Proof Of Concept projects, testing and certification of new features
Strong Experience with Exadata and Oracle Database Appliance: architecture, operations, troubleshooting
Experience working with Oracle support
