Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an PC Admin & Support Help Desk for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Utility Services clients in New York, NY. Responsibilities :
- Duties will include user support, troubleshooting, problem solving, server installation and administration, cyber security assessment, and hardware and software support.
- Project opportunities will include project development, project engineering, and vendor management.
- Candidate must be proficient with Windows desktop support, server administration, virtualization, TCP/IP networking, and cyber security best practices.
- Additionally, the candidate should be well organized, detail oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users.
- The ability to push, pull, and lift equipment (about 50 lbs.) is required.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
- Occasional need to climb ladders and work in tight spaces to troubleshoot and repair network problems.
- Experience with Firewalls, Hyper-V, Tripwire, Splunk, Cisco IOS, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Backup technology, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell and Linux scripting is highly desired.
