Ruby on Rail, React, Go- ang or similar Mostly focused on content management system, building out and retooling apps for publishers Addressing compliance, tooling and ensuring compliance with SOX standards Angular would be a good sub to Ruby, node, react, okay but prefer Ruby Easy interview process, 2 rounds, maybe 3 Collaborative, stand-up sessions, sprints, expectations for independent workers, good communicator, able to take a job a run with it. Open to more senior candidates but not open to people in or just recently out of school About the Role Megaphone is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and own software solutions at our fast-paced podcast technology and ad services company. The Senior Software Engineer role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to join a close knit and smart team of a rapidly growing business. I Key Responsibilities Develop high-quality software design and architecture Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting Review and debug code Perform validation and verification testing Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products Document development phases and monitor systems Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies Requirements and attributes of the ideal candidates Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related degree, preferred 4+ years of experience Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g. Ruby, JavaScript, Go) In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. BigTable) Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude Ability to work independently #LI-SPG #Dice-SPG #Zip-SPG #Mon-SPG #CB-SPG #IND-SPGYoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
