W2 or Independent Corp. to Corp. Only No C2C through an employer, agency, or third-party company Must come out of finance. Must have business and system analysis background. Must have Understanding of basics of systems design such as multi-tier platforms Must have experience creating flow/system diagrams using visio Global Banking Technology (GBT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans and tailored lending.   • A Technical Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within a company.
  • They ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.
  • A Technical Project Manager is the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns. They use their industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.
  • As part of strategy to design and implement ETRADE integration, Global Banking Technology team is looking for a Technical Project Manager.
  • Candidate shall have 10+ years of experience on the execution, planning, and delivery of technical projects.
  • The candidate should also have previous experience in Agile framework with requirements writing in the form of User Stories.
  • Candidate will interface on a regular basis with other teams including other IT teams including ETRADE across Wealth Management , BA team, QA team, and global development team.
  • To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities, vendor capabilities, proprietary system builds, and the ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Provide Technical Project Planning, Management and Oversight for key initiatives and implementation.
  • Work as part of the ETRADE banking Agile Squad/Fleet on defining platform features and functional capabilities
  • Analyze business processes, functions and procedures across multiple business units
  • Create user stories for business and functional requirements, including workflow, business rules, and use cases.
  • Ensure initiatives and projects are closely aligned with strategic priorities, and they completed on-time, within scope and budget and with an extremely high quality of deliverables
  • Evaluate technological choices that have an appropriate balance between cost/benefit today and future implications and limitations
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
  • Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basics of systems design such as multi-tier platforms
  • Flexible and open-minded for alternative solutions and able to drive implementation quickly with high degree of quality.
  • Strong analytical and people skills, including thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and can work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experience within an Agile framework and related tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)
  • Working understanding of Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Financial market, Banking & Wealth Management.
  • Experience in working with partners and stakeholders across geography & time zones
  • Expertise in JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment
  • Familiarity with SRE principle
