Open to C2C and W2Onsite in NYC (must be local)The Corporate Banking and Transverse system domain within the Global IT New York organization is in charge of the IT projects, applications support & maintenance of the following domains: Finance, Counterparty & Credit Risk, Commercial Back Office, Financial security, Payments and SWIFT messaging as well as the related compliance applications, reference systems, as well as non-business applications (IT for IT, Administration, HR ).The department is looking for an IT Trade Finance specialist to work on the preliminary study and implementation of TI+ in replacement of booking in ACBS.The study is scheduled for a duration of 5 months and will be followed by an implementation project in 2022. The resource will be requested to have key participation in this implementation project with a BA role.Key Responsibilities:- Work with stakeholders and project team to collect requirements,- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards,- Collaborate with IT teams to define high level functional and ensure technical architecture can support business requirements,- Understand, analyze and define target of the functional flow and application architecture- Understand and analyze data: operational management, reporting …- Write and review documentation,- Review designs and solutions to ensure they are in-line with architecture goals.- Define testing strategy.Skills & Knowledge Requirements:The position requires a strong knowledge of trade finance activities and products, as well as some technical understanding to partner with business groups and guide development teams to implement the new Trade Finance processing system.Experience required:5+ years’ experience in IT projects in financial industry, with strong knowledge of trade financing.Essential:- Great attention to detail and organizational skills,- Analytical and critical thinking,- International trade finance products, processes, practices and related regulations (deal life cycle, significant documents, SWIFT messages),- Excellent verbal and written communication.Desirable:- TI+ knowledge or knowledge of other market trade finance back office application,- Experience implementing commercial back application,- Technical background, knowledge and understanding of information system architecture,- Project Management processes,- Relational databases MSSQL (preferred) or Oracle and/or Sybase,- Awareness of software development methods / SDLC (System Development Life Cycle),- Risk monitoring and accounting knowledge for trade finance activity
