Looking for a Service Technician with experience who can perform responsibilities relating to installation, removal, service, and maintenance of compactors and balers.
Specific responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Safely operate company service vehicle.
Change hoses and fittings on compactors and balers
Support and conduct site surveys for compactor and baler installations and service.
Work cooperatively with supervisor and managers to confirm quotes for customers.
Perform daily compactor and/or baler services, installations and removals as scheduled.
Work cooperatively with team to properly identify, report and cure electrical and mechanical issues encountered onsite.
Work with team to ensure proper and quality work is executed to the satisfaction of Supervisor.
Respond to emergency service calls outside of normal business hours to perform and assist with service and repairs (from time to time)
Assist with the organization and maintenance of the equipment in the shop and on the service vehicles.
Assist in the keeping of the inventory and parts log and report on parts needed for specific services to Supervisor.
Assist in refurbishing used balers and compactors and estimate the work necessary to rehabilitate and re-sell such equipment.
Work hours will be approximately 8am – 4pm, Monday - Friday.
