Early morning and afternoon Delivery Person needed for catering company operating out of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There will be occasional opportunities to work evening events as well.
We work with high-profile clients who expect excellent service and value attention to detail.
DRIVERS MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
- Set up breakfast and lunch buffets quickly and efficiently
- Follow set-up guidelines to ensure all buffets look beautiful and are easily accessible
- Follow checklists to ensure you are all set for every delivery
- Keep track of all company inventory you take out, and handle everything with care
- Return all company equipment at the end of each day
- Interact and communicate with clients on a daily basis when delivering / setting up buffets
- Anticipate any issues and inform Catering Coordinator and/or client about any adjustments immediately
- Be comfortable driving a Commercial Van and keep it in excellent condition
REQUIREMENTS:
- NY State Driver’s License
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- MUST be reliable and always on-time
- MUST be detail-oriented
- A good attitude and friendly personality goes a long way!
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work very early mornings (days sometimes start btwn 4am and 6am)
- Must be able to work weekends if necessary
COMPENSATION:
$18-22/hour
training shifts will be $18/hr
