Objectives As a part-time the EDI Ops and Oder Management Consultant supports the Wholesale Commercial team to expand and elevate our major EDI retailer experience. The consultant will own EDI order management and new EDI retailer onboarding processes (B2B and D2C.) This role will liaise with Commercial, Customer Service Operations, and Supply & Logistics to ensure accurate and timely EDI order processing, allocation, and release. The role will work closely with other IT consultants and EDI providers to troubleshoot developments and diagnose process improvements.To support this exciting period of growth, we have recently partnered with a 3PL warehouse on the east coast. As EDI process owner and expert in the field, the EDI consultant may be called on to advise operational planning of bringing existing EDI flows into our new 3PL. Key Responsibilities
- EDI order management process owner: reviewing orders for accuracy, maintaining cancel dates, liaising with Commercial and Supply for allocations, releasing orders to 3PL for shipping, liaising with Logistics for on time delivery and dispute support.
- EDI onboarding support: supporting Supply/IT/EDI provider for testing and improvements, troubleshooting errors and onboarding new retailer accounts (B2B and D2C), advise transition existing EDI flows into new 3PL.
- EDI and ERP maintenance: catalog maintenance, supporting new EDI/ERP developments, troubleshooting systems errors, giving visibility to correct process and improvement opportunities to teams.
- Liaising with France and Americas teammates in Commercial, Customer Service Operations, and Supply & Logistics.
- Liaising with external partners at our 3PL warehouses, IT consultants, and EDI providers.
- Expertise in EDI order management, USA major department store business and operations requirements, ERP troubleshooting and order management, 3PL warehousing.
- Excellent organization and follow-through, self-motivated work style.
- Willingness to collaborate with international colleagues in various time zones.
- Reasonably weekly work schedule/hours, min. 50% of active weekly hours during business day 9:00AM-5:00PM EST.
- Regular access to workspace including reliable internet, laptop, phone, and video call devices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP, Microsoft Power BI reporting preferred.
- Must be available to work some days onsite in NYC or Wilkes Barre, PA.
