Job Description
Title: .NET Developer (C#/SSIS)Location: NYC (3x a week onsite)Duration: 6 months contract with a probable extensionPosition Overview:We are looking for a Senior.NET Developer with C# and SSIS experienceto join our development team. The role requires a broad range of Web related experience including ASP.NET Inaddition, you should have strong database knowledge including MS SQL server and befamiliarwith the full software design lifecycle.You should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. A keen eye on quality is important.The ideal candidate proactively collaborates withourprogrammanagerto prepare, organize, coordinate, document and/orprovidethe development and deliverables.Key Responsibilities:- Design and Develop applicationsusing Microsoft technologies
- Maintainandsupportexisting applications
- Lead large scale, complex process improvement initiatives
- Improve existing applications
- Establishcontinuous communication with the business line Controllersand Compliance Officers
- Maintainproject plans andsubmitstatus reports
- Performing and directing quality assurance testing of systems and solutions.
- Implement process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another four-year degree with significant IS experience OR equivalent experience.
- Must have strong communicationand interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- 7+years of development experience using .net technologies
- 7+ years of experience with MS SQL Server
- Must have experience with C#, ASP.NET, WCF, Entity Framework, Java Script, XML
- Must have experience with SSIS Ability to translate business needs and priorities into processes and systems requirements
- Must be highly orga nized and process oriented.
- Good tohave a strong grasp of the fundamentals of global financial markets
- Have a deep understanding of data models in the financial markets space
- Must havevery strongcommunication skills
- Ability to research and trouble-shoot application problems
