Job Description: Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Product Designer to create ultra-usable mobile app designs for the products that bring healthcare information to millions of our devoted users. Your portfolio demonstrates technical proficiency with a focus on systems-thinking and showcases well-executed visual design expertise, typography, and a deep understanding of the core faces of UX. What you'll do: Collaborate and communicate with designers, product management, and engineers to ensure the creation/execution of user-friendly designs that help achieve engagement targets, app installs and user loyaltyTake part (if time allows) in conducting user research, competitor analysis, surveys, and usability testsWireframe user flows and complex UI solutionsUse and maintain an established in-house app design systemArticulate creative solutions to your stakeholders and business partners, explaining your rationale and how your designs align with the business goalsPackage and deliver your designs in impeccable form for implementation, buttoning up edge cases and functional requirementsManage your time to ensure you are on target for deadlines and deliverables

Skills and experience we're looking for: A portfolio that demonstrates a strong native app design, design process and passion for the craftSolid foundation of UX / IA principles and user interface patternsStrong knowledge of Apple's iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design3+ years of actual work experience is requiredProficient in Figma, Sketch, Principle or other prototyping softwareStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse cross-functional teams and on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work both autonomously and as part of a teamMeticulous, organized, and dedicated to the highest quality standardsUnderstanding of front-end coding technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, cross-browser considerations)Experience working in Agile development environmentsPrior experience with editorial content or health-related sites a plus

Required Education: BFA or BA degree in design-related studies, or equivalent work experience
