- Candidates need to be located in the New York metropolitan area.
- The client is currently in a WFH model but a Hybrid model in the office will return in the near future.
- Understanding of modern web/app design standards including responsive design and styling guidelines
- Ability to replicate designs and hand write stylesheets
- Experienced in design with web usability standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience developing user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, and high quality prototypes
- Build out automated testing and deployment
- System support and maintenance
- Working with Traders, Front and Middle office users to gather web UI requirements and provide support
- Frontend development experience with JavaScript (ES6/7), React and Redux.
- 5 years minimum of Web UI design experience.
- Ability to replicate designs and handwrite stylesheets.
- Experience with front end web application development using one or more of the following: CSS pre-processors: LESS, SASS, Stylus.
- Ability to intuitively animate UI elements via custom CSS animation.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Solid understanding of DOM, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Solid grasp of application state vs local state and how they affect UI renders.
- Experience with asynchronous data-driven actions.
- Experience writing scalable, highly-performant, instrumented and clean code.
- Ability to design using with web usability standards and cross-browser compatibility.
- Have developed user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, and high quality prototypes
- Experience with data integration; understanding/experience with RESTful API design or WebSockets.
- Development of Front-end tooling workflows: Node.js, Yarn, Webpack, Create React App, Flow, Babel.
