The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our client server and application infrastructure, including Active Directory and Group Policy, Hyper-V, and VMware, and be involve enterprise server application migration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration and a proven track record of delivering highly available and scalable server and application solutions. Responsibilities: • Analyze, provide recommendations and improvement for server and application infrastructure, including Active Directory and Group Policy, VMware, and server application migration • Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and applications • Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructure, including VMware, Hyper-V and virtual desktops • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents, installation and configuration guides, and troubleshooting guides • Develop and maintain server and application security protocols and procedures • Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure that server and application requirements are incorporated into the design and implementation of new systems and applications • Participate in the testing and deployment of server and application solutions • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the server and application infrastructure Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a system administrator role • Strong understanding of server hardware and operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy administration • Experience with virtualized infrastructure, including Hyper-V and VMware • Familiarity with AppDynamics or similar performance monitoring tools • Technical writing experience, including system architecture and design documents, installation and configuration guides, and troubleshooting guides • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Experience with server application migration • Ability to work independentlyVacancy expired!
