Under limited supervision, works on more complex IT architecture projects with full competency. Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces. Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system. Recommends appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy. May coordinate the activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.

Key Responsibilities: Lead Architect with Hands-on, practical experience with architecting and building, highly scalable systems in public cloud environments.Here you will:
  • Work closely with the project team to capture and maintain
    • Current technology landscape (As-is)
    • Future technology landscape (To-Be)
    • Systems Integrations and hosting environments
  • Design and develop efficient, well-structured and documented technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain a detailed architecture with enterprise technology, hosting standards and security guidelines
  • Define integration roadmap for on-prem, cloud and third-party products and coordinate the technical delivery
  • Work with Enterprise Cybersecurity team to conduct security design reviews for Project team.
  • Assist in prioritizing the Epic/User stories for the alignment of program architecture
  • Perform application/ Epic implementation design reviews during projects SDLC before releasing to QA testing
  • Execute technical support including issues fixes, upgrades, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release.
  • Develop and maintain the technical documentation including architecture, technical specifications, technical testing, technical recovery plan
  • Build effective relationships within our matrixed organization with other business units in order to support change request, solution design & testing
Key Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in design and development of highly scalable resilient web platforms, out of which minimum 2 years should be as an architect leading the solution architecture.
  • Should have a demonstrable, hands on development experience with at least one of C, Java and Database design, data architecture, in a Cloud(AWS) hosted environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with scripting in one more language.
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as source code management/version control, continuous integration/delivery and automated build tooling, and test processes
  • Comfort navigating a traditional on-premise IT estate and enterprise processes
  • An understanding of risk, secure cloud configuration, and infrastructure best practices that support a secure cloud infrastructure strategy

  • Experience as an application analyst or engineer, or working with application infrastructure

  • Familiarity within tech stack: Containers and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
  • A proven track record of migrating and supporting significant legacy IT applications and tools to modern, cloud-first architecture.
