To be successful in this role
- You come with 6+ years of combined experience in SQL and Python Airflow, including building ETLs and/or other types of data pipelines.
- You possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate highly complex and ambiguous situations.
- You are a creative problem solver and willing to take ownership of projects.
- You set a high-quality bar: just-enough documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration & deployment.
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to think outside the box and adapt the message to the audience.
- You can pick up new skills quickly and familiarize yourself with new software and frameworks
- You do not need a traditional Data Engineering background. We value lived experience and curiosity in addition to professional experience and formal education.
