Sr Oracle Database Developer Get us going with oracle first then move to Snowflake. Sr developer with oracle DB w Exposure to snowflake.

Stored procedures, triggers or modeling and design skills? Tables need to be designed. Everything is in a flat file now. The DB needs to be optimized for reading. Large sets of data. Not looking to put a lot of logic into procedures. We have our own DB support but this person needs to work with the DBAs.

Shell scripts or python is MUST.
  • Helping to understand our data.
  • Whats the scope that is being built- not terabytes, its significant probably few millions of records.
  • We do not know yet how much data we will have in future.
  • Resume- overall experience. Owned things vs following microdirection. Oracle, Scripting (python), agile scrum teams, Snowflake.
  • Our data is not complicated that will warrant fulltime architect. We will have diff views of those tables but the core of DB will be a handful of tables.
Sr Developer hands-on Oracle Developer that can perform optimizations and troubleshooting if report is slow. Not looking to spread out logic into diff layers.
