RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is hiring an ELM Analyst in New York City, New York (NY).
Summary:The ELM Analyst's role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This ELM Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes, and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.Responsibilities include: Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team for ELM Assist with the gathering of business requirements performing fit/gap analysis and developing functional specifications for data conversions and customizations in ELM ELM Analyst will modify or develop new queries and reports in ELM as needed Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules Communicates and applies project standards Manages resources in accordance with project schedule Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies ELM Analyst will own the functional requirements link between the customer, development team and any third-party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner Communicates needed changes to development teamREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study 5+ years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications 5+ years of Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniquesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
