Trigyn is seeking Java Developer for contract position with its direct financial services client in New York City.
Description:The client is looking for a Java developer who can take ownership for the whole end to end delivery, performing analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of large-scale and distributed applications. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and is likely to have significant experience in application development, a strong technical background and good communication skills. He/she will interact directly with the users and with other technologists across the firm when using their framework/software. You will work as an application developer on an in-house developed system that manages the life-cycle processing of Asset Servicing events (also known as Corporate Actions). You will be responsible for the hands-on management of all the phases of the Software Development Lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment. You will collaborate with partner teams including Asset Servicing Operations, Prime Brokerage account representatives and Application Support Groups. The projects worked on will form part of a multi-year program to renovate the Firm's Global Asset Servicing technology platform. The role will provide exposure to a wide variety of different business units and asset classes within the Institutional Securities Group and Wealth Management divisions. We're looking for a self-starter who is comfortable managing their own and other team member's workload within a collaborative, team driven environment. Hands-on coding experience is essential.
