Job Title: Python Developer

Duration: 18 month contract (possible conversion)

Location: Remote to start then hybrid in NYC or Jersey City

Required Pay Scale: 50-85/hr

Responsibilities

Design and implementation of Credit Instrument and its associated lifecycleDesign and implementation of Pricers for various credit productsDevelop relationships with the Quant and Financial Development Teams to resolve pricing related issuesInvestigate and analyze legacy valuation result differences with quartz to ensure quartz based implementation pricing is correctSupport BAU, end of day processing

Must have:-Python development experience-Unix-SQL-Eager to learn-Able to contribute and work well in a collaborative team environment-Good communication skills-Min 2 years of hands-on development experience in object oriented programing, e.g., Python, C, or Java etc.

Desired Skills-Quantitative degree in Math, Physics, Engineering a plus.-Previous experience with python preferred.-Good knowledge of finance and security valuation preferred-Senior level (5-7+ years ideal)-financial platform and financial product knowledge is ideal
