Location: New York City, NY Description: Our client is looking for a Process Improvement Leader. This person will play an integral role in expanding an internal capability that will help drive efficiency and innovation leveraging Danaher's proven Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies. The successful candidate will plan, execute, and manage the work of designing, codifying, and implementing processes and systems that are optimized and digitized to the extent possible.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop mastery in required processes and tools with emphasis on Problem Solving Process, Visual and Daily Management, and Transactional Process Improvement;
  • Roll out these processes and tools as the standard enterprise continuous improvement methodology;
  • Facilitate the embrace of this standard methodology through application and delivery of both formal and informal trainings.
  • Drive targeted and radical improvements by applying the DBS methodologies that have been adopted;
  • Promote and facilitate the diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wasteful activities that exist throughout the network;
  • Provide informal and formal counsel on how best to apply these methodologies and think differently about the work;
  • Ensure effective project and change management processes to drive sustainable improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role;
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience applying Danaher Business Systems, Fortive Business Systems, and/or Lean Six Sigma;
  • Drive to achieve excellence through display of extraordinarily high expectations for quality of work and a reflex to improve with urgency at every turn;
  • Ability to work through, synthesize, and narrate complex issues
  • Influence skills to drive understanding and adoption;
  • An ease to challenge thinking and assumptions;
  • Nimble, proactive go-getter energized by the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, results-driven, entrepreneurial culture where change is rapid; and
  • An eagerness to learn and take onboard feedback to grow and achieve full potential.
  • Ability to train and mentor direct reports in Problem Solving Process, Visual and Daily Management, and Transactional Process Improvement
