Contract to Hire Opportunity We re looking for a capable Desktop Support Tech who can solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems. Must have an IT background that includes Apple / Mac support. Overview:
- Responds to routine technical questions or requests for information
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
- Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures
- Orders and replaces parts as needed
- Troubleshoots and resolves network connection issues and tracks network connections back to network switches
- Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if needed
- Represents CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner
- Communicates effectively with customers and associates
- 3+ years of Deskside Support experience including hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks
- Apple / Mac experience
- Customer service skills required
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- A+ certification a plus
