Sr. Front End Engineer in NYC, NY

• Build quality code using core UI technologies and perform code reviews.
• Design and develop Single Page applications using Angular, ReactJS, or VueJS Frameworks.
• Analyze projects’ needs, research and engineer solutions to complex software problems.
• Create and execute Unit Test and performance test(s) for the stability of application(s).
• Lead integration processes between UI technologies, services, and back-end systems.
• Assist UI development group and UI designer in creating UI standards, patterns and best practices.
• Support high visibility production issues, participate in root cause analysis and provide timely solutions as needed.
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements

• Minimum Bachelors’ degree, or 4 years of related experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Object-Oriented concepts, and accessibility.
• In depth experience and knowledge in ReactJS, Angular 6+, VueJS JavaScript framework(s). ReactJS preferred.
• In depth, experience writing and organizing CSS styles natively and with preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Knowledge in working with JSON data, transforming XML to JSON, consuming or building RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in doing Unit Testing, Test-Driven development, and Automation Testing.
• Ability to debug browser issues using Chrome and IE Dev tools with detail knowledge of browser intricacies.
• Experience with Source Control tools like Git or Subversion and branching methodologies.
• Ability to build and deploy Single Page Applications using npm, node.js, Jenkins, and other build / deploy tools.
• Familiarity with Java and a wide range of Java/J2EE/JEE technologies a plus.
• Experience with advanced XML technologies and API’s such as XSD, a plus.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, a plus.
• Knowledge or experience in Spring Framework is a plus
• Knowledge or experience in containerization is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience in monitoring technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims and health insurance industry, preferred.
• Knowledge of business directions, trends and impacts of key business and IT initiatives, preferred.
• Knowledge of project management and execution of multiple projects, a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
• The ability to quickly attain and understand new processes with strict attention to detail.
