Key Accountabilities The Analytics & Reporting Lead is responsible for developing and driving the strategy, multi-year roadmap and the overall Cloud Analytics Program for the technology team. The Analytics & Reporting Lead will develop and refine processes for effective data analysis and reporting to provide valuable business insights. The Analytics & Reporting Lead is well versed in Microsoft Analytics, SAP Cloud Analytics or similar Platforms and is competent in both leading and delivering large scale, multi-year, data lake cloud-based initiatives. This role requires a high-level understanding of Enterprise Data Analytics and is responsible for driving adoption across the business. Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and execution of the Enterprise Analytics Strategy for the organization through collaborative engagement with both Technology and Business stakeholders
- Manage details of the roadmap: inputting roadmap items, deadlines, milestones, etc.
- Ensure the data analytics team is meeting roadmap milestones and deadlines; report on success/gaps
- Develop and maintain relevant reports such as progress visibility, program status, and program metrics
- Help drive company-wide adoption of Data Quality and Data Governance programs and tools with efficiency and speed
- Identify KPIs or success metrics to measure Data Governance and Data Quality tool adoption and adherence across the organization
- Help promote a Data Governance culture throughout the organization and provide regular reporting on Data Governance metrics and activities
- Help evolve data access, availability, retention, security, privacy and compliance policies and associated enforcement mechanisms
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Computer Science or Data/Modeling science) with at least 5 years' experience in an Analytics leadership role.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Data Factory, Data Lake or SAP Cloud Analytics / Business Warehouse / Data Warehouse
- Strong background with an understanding of the intersection between business, analytics, engineering, and regulatory environments resulting in a proactive approach, focusing on reusable solutions, to improve efficiency while minimizing data risk
- Excellent business process and change management skills with an ability to develop strategy, influence stakeholders, drive implementation and measure success
- Ability to influence business decision-making by providing quantitative/qualitative data analysis
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to solve problems and make decisions with sound judgement
- Must have excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills and be comfortable working in a collaborative, high performing team environment.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office toolset (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio)
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision and professionally respond to constructive feedback
- Agile and Waterfall project management methodology experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in strategic development and execution of a multi-year large scale program implementation & legacy migrations of Analytics Platforms
- Prior experience with SAP or ERP implementations
- Experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry
- PMP or equivalent certification
