Our Utility Client in Poughkeespie, NY is in search of an IT CyberSecurity Projet Leader that would be part time onsite for a 6-12+ month contract that ideally will go Fulltime Employment.Position outline The Cybersecurity Project Leader oversees and is responsible fordriving and executing upon the proactive cybersecurity strategy for thecompany's Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology(OT) environments and mitigating cybersecurity risk. This position willdrive the highly motivated cybersecurity team focused on analyzing,designing, developing and delivering solutions to stop adversaries andstrengthen operations. This includes the execution ofbusiness-risk oriented security consultancy and cybersecurityawareness, communication, training activities, and alignment with theNIST Framework's key objectives of identification, protection,detection, response and recovery. This is a hands-on task & projectexecution position with supervisory responsibilities. The incumbent willmentor analysts in their career development. Key Accountabilities:Performs and oversees the functions of the Cybersecurity team, including, but not limited to execution of the tasks outlined in the company's cybersecurity strategy: Proactive threat hunting and threat intelligence reviews Analysis of SIEM events Incident response Technical security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments Proactive antivirus, antimalware, patching and permissions management Maintains and oversees the execution of the Cybersecurity strategy &; roadmap inaccordance with the NIST model for IT and the NERC CIP Model for OT and ensures alignment with the overall IT/OT Strategy & roadmap Maintains the cybersecurity workplan including tracking and prioritization of identified tasks and projects Supervises the resources of the Cybersecurity team and Cybersecurity managedservices/vendors and provides development and guidance aimed at improving thecapabilities of the internal cybersecurity team Performs regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments and leads thedevelopment of appropriate remediation plans in collaboration with SMEs to drive the plans to completion Maintains all Cybersecurity applications and tools through the Company's SDLC Provides feedback to upper management to ensure the company has a current and future view of threats and the risks inherent in new technologies and business processes Anticipates and manages technology evolution and provides input to upper managementregarding cybersecurity strategy Provides input to the identification and implementation of "best practices policies,procedures, solutions and standards Builds awareness within the company regarding the relevance and importance ofcybersecurity in both IT and OT (NERC CIP and non-NERC CIP assets) environments Actively participates in industry communities to continuously expand upon knowledge and improve the standards and awareness of the company's cybersecurity practices Required:Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree and at least 10 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity. Experience and knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Framework including performing threat identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery and the CIS 20 Critical Security Controls Experience maintaining and leveraging Cybersecurity tools and applications Experience leading and managing projects and teams with a wide range of experience and technical staff Experience with the definition, training, implementation, continuous improvement, andongoing mentorship of Cybersecurity best practices Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels Strong leadership, negotiation and consultative skills at a cross-functional level Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Valid driver's license Preferred:Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or STEM field; master's degree CISSP, CISM, CEH, CRISC, CCSP, CISA, CGEIT, CHFI, SSCP, Security+ certifications Experience in NERC CIP and/or SOX Compliance Experience in Energy & Utilities or services industry Experience managing large, transformational projects and leading organizational change management initiatives Experience with strategic sourcing including contract negotiations, metrics reporting, and overall partnership cultivationDonnelly & Moore is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer We celebrate and embrace the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills and experiences within our workforce, and strive to empower each individual.
